The town of Lady Lake is located 56 miles northwest of downtown Orlando and is known for its beautiful lakes and its streets lined with mature Oak Trees, Orange Groves and Honeysuckles. This small town of only 13,244 residents taken from the 2005 census is situated on 6.8 sq miles. The slower paced town is made up of several quiet small communities that are specifically designed for the 55 and older set (adult communities).
