 Mascotte is a small town in Lake County west of Clermont and Groveland with a population of 4,363 recorded by the US Census Bureau in 2004. The town was named for the ship in which one of the early settlers sailed. Mascotte is a friendly place to call home with beautiful weather most of the year.
